Impromptu Speech 2005/2006

Special President Program with HiComm of clubs and societies in MMU organised by SRC Cyberjaya.

The event was about the story of the MMU President life in becoming a CEO of MMU and some tips to gain self-confident in becoming a leader.

Somehow, the course was carried out to talk about love, which is the same as last year's. I guess that our president has the master in the art of love. (is it prof?)...

Anyway, the point is to ensure that the leaders in MMU can communicate well with others. In fact, fluent in communicating with others is the measurement of one's leadership.

HHHmmmm..... As a president of IU, whats my score? :P

During the 3 hours "lecture", i dont know how many times that prof said "betul tak?".. it seems that every statement he ended with that. Memang betul...

Then, the real impromptu was by president of SRC. He spoke about his experience. He started to talk about his love, and carried out with his responsibilities. But, the honorable speaker, wanted him to talk about love not his obligations.

Since that the other volunteers also talk about love. Now i know that mmu students are great in loving others.

Owh ya, each and every impromptu speakers were asked about one ultimate question. The question something like this,..

Your wife/husband/life partner, want to continue study for Master level, and the cost is RM21,000. In your saving, you have RM21,000. Will you give your RM21,000 for him/her to further their study?

Some say to give all, some not, some say give just half; each and everyone asked has their reasons.

If I was asked to answer the question, I will give all my saving money to her. because for me, if i got married with my loved one, spending for her is like spending for myself.

There were many answers, even shakespeare quotations were there. Some even share their happy and sad stories being together with their partner. Now i know, who really MMU students are.

The hours passed very fast event I didnt notice its already noon. From the presentation by Prof, no wonder that he is the President/CEO of MMU. He is great. I hope that one day he can be like Tun Dr. Mahathir, and lead Malaysia to a better nation.
